Abstract

|
Neuropathic pain refers to pain related to peripheral or central nervous system injury. It is generally classified according to the etiology of the injury, which includes peripheral polyneuropathy and mononeuropathy or multiple mononeuropathy as well as central nervous system injury. This report presents a brief overview of the mechanisms and the complications of neuropathic pain.
